SiN2.0 Launches New Insider Podcast for Adult Webmasters

Santa Clara, CA, June 4, 2008 – SiN2.0, the first social media resource for the adult industry and its patrons, has announced the release of a new podcast geared towards the adult webmaster community. A podcast is an episodic audio program, similar in format to a radio show, which is streamed on-demand over the web or can be downloaded to a portable MP3 player. The 30-minute ‘Adult Webmaster Podcast’ is the first podcast to focus on adult industry specific topics related to promoting, maintaining, and legally operating an online adult entertainment business and provides practical insight for inexperienced webmasters and online adult industry veterans alike.

The general format of the podcast consists of an overview and analysis of the past week’s top adult-related news stories, followed by an in-depth interview with a key adult industry personality. Each week the podcast will provide a contemporary resource of opinions and insights from major movers and shakers in the adult industry.

“Most people think running an adult site should be easy money.” says Jason Hart, producer and host of the podcast. “If only those people knew just how much work it really takes to stay competitive and produce sustainable results.”

The first podcast features an interview with legendary Thumbnail Gallery Post expert, ‘DamageX’. Promotional methods have come under great scrutiny over the past few years, as the industry struggles to capitalize on prime content while facing the reality that giving away content for free is antithetical to profitable business. Despite the recent advent and popularity of ‘Tube’ sites, TGPs still remain an effective way to attract a small but consistent stream of adult traffic; but for how long?

The second scheduled podcast tackles the concept of using Tube sites for “good” and the future direction of these sites with Cherry Pimp’s Jack “Avalanche” Lawson.

Future podcast topics will include promoting Gay niche content, with Mark Kliem from Lavender Lounge, and the legal realities of 2257 for secondary and tertiary producers.
